Woooo!!! Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 is coming across the border!!!

Yeah! The number one reason I was happy for Naruto crossing the border was the fact that this would mean video games! And in case you don't know, Naruto: COF 2 is an awesome game! Think Super Smash Brothers mixed with your standard face-to-face fighter, add some anime-inspired cel-shaded graphics, and then add the craziest in-your-face specail moves ever. There you go.

Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Adapter

I hate Naruto's catchphrase? Believe it!

Well, now three english episodes of Naruto have aired, and it has remained relativly loyal to the original (viz does a nice job of these things). Some things have been changed (no more massive nosebleeds from the sexy jitsu, and Naruto/Sasuke kiss isn't litearly shown, which may be for the best.) Other things differ from other translations (it's the shadow clone jitsu in the anime, but it's the art of the shadow doppelganger in the manga. Also, I took a while to get used to Naruto's voice, and they didn't keep the same opening sequence (though I did hate the song, ROCKS)), but it's all really minor.

HOWEVER...

I hate his new catchphrase. It first surfaced in the first episode, when Naruto tells his dream to be Hokage to Iruka ("Everyone... will look up to me! Believe it!"), but I thought nothing of it. Then it hit me this would go on as he said it about two or three times in the Konohamaru episode ("You want to be a ninja? Then Believe it!), which seem really clipped in and out of place. Yet again it appeared once in the last episode (don't remember what context it was in though).

Hopefully, this stops after a while, but if it doesn't, I'll still watch it. I love the Naruto manga, so I'll watch the anime.

Tsubasa Chronicles!

Wooo!! They made a game!

To explain, there is manga (soon to be anime) made by CLAMP (famous for such manga as X and Cardcaptor Sakura) called Tsubasa: Resevoir Chronicles. It is cross over manga, including Syaoran (Lee in the English Anime of Cardcaptors) as the main character, and Sakura (also crossed-over from Cardcaptor Sakura) as the princess of Clow (For more, check a bookstore or someone who specailizes in manga.). Note: the two are featured on the cover of the game.

In any case, I would love to own this game (seeing how the DS is not region-locked), but I can't find a way to import yet (I don't have a credit card, I would have done the same for Naruto 3 and Jump Superstars). In any case, from the japanese Nintendo site the screenshots seem to show an RPG (which I love). It looks like you fight Fai and Chi(0_o I suppose he's the most likely to be evil). I do wonder what attacks Sakura would have (healing? special "wing" attacks that you power up or gain when you get another feather?).

Can someone translate the nintendo page?

UPDATE: I ran the site through the BableFish translator, and loosly translated it. It is a card-based RPG... Comes out Oct. 27th, for 5,229 yen, and up to two people can play.

The Revolution's controller a suprising success... to me anyways.

The Revolution Controller!!!

Finally, Iwata decides to show us. Many were skeptical that Iwata would show much, but he brought what everyone was thinking about or wondering about!

As described at Joystiq.com, "The Revolution’s controller, coming in 4 colors, is a remote control-like thing with a D-pad, 3 buttons (A, a, and b) and a B trigger below. It works like a gyroscopic mouse, moving and twisting in 3D (think: Kirby Tilt-n-Tumble). It is indeed wireless, and features rumble capability. It should be packaged with one of the endless number of possible attachments: an analog joystick and two triggers to be held in the left hand."

Big News! Naruto anime has come to Canada!

You may not know, but I really love the manga Naruto. If you've never heard of, go look it up at a book store or on the internet. In any case, there is an anime for it (however, a bit crappy, as some of the battle effects are subpar. If you see it, you'll know).

In any case, if you live in Canada (Buffulo or Quebec, do you get YTV there?), I just got some news. To those who don't know the channel YTV (Youth Televison, they're part of Corus), they have a segment called Bionix, where they claim it's the " largest collection of anime in Canada" which is pretty sad since it's pretty much only three(Inuyasha, Gundam Seed, and .Hack//Sign. The only other shows are Reboot and Beasties (or Beast Wars in the US), CG shows by the same people).

But as I saw their new ad, who should pop up, but Naruto! I swear, a tingle went down my spine, and I was cheering like crazy. Yeah, I like it THAT MUCH.

In other news, Ghost in the Shell is also coming there. And Naruto is on YTV, at 9:30, every Friday.

To the few people who may have read this blog, I'm back! After I got the computer fixed, I.... spent two months in a mongolian prison, after which I met a man who taught me as a ninja. Later, I was bitten by a radioactive spider, giving me superpowers. Things got really weird when I fell in a well, and got transported to an alternate version of feudal Japan. Eventually, I learned how to pilot a giant robot (that I named a Gundam) and had to fight my best friend (and fell in love with his fiancee!). After taking a chuunin exam (which was abrubtly ended by some snakey guy), I went on this complicated trip with a man with bushy white hair and an affinity for frogs. I recently found out I was a wizard, and that the man that gave me a skar on my forehead, was some dead wizard guy, with a name he did not want to say.

What? That's what happened! What, was it because I was simply too lazy to blog for the last two months?!

Computer's Internet is messed, May be offline for a while

Damnit! For some reason my computer gotten all messed up. My guess is that when my anti-virus deleted a file, it must have been vital to my internet. In any case my browsers and msn won't work. I'll be able to make posts, but only when I am at school (like now). And summer vacation is next week, so I may be offline for a while. I have one hunch how to fix it, but if that does not work, then I may be offline for a while.

Only 6 drivers on the track at United States Grand Prix, Thousands of American get ticked off

The United Stated Grand Prix, in Indianapolis, an event that has a lot of fans in the states, ran only six cars on the track. Usually there are around twenty, but for some reason, those cars with Michelin tires decided not to race. It was a sight to see, and many of the now ticked of audience members were throwing debris on the field. In my opinion, it was hilarious!

Some crazy SOB decided to make a DVD set showing the highlights of E3. I bet a whole bunch of video game freaks will be begging for this. I however will be waiting for the DVD that comes free with the next issue of nintendo power. Plus, can always watch the show Electric Playground, all year they show clips from E3.

Gundam Seed Review - That Episode, ya know, right after the Earth forces attack Orb, and Kira and Athrun meet again

I got to tell you, I love this show. Honestly, something crazy happens every episode!

In any case this episode was fairly good, but couldn't top some of the best episodes, so it was about average. The best stuff occurs around Cagalli and her father. Of course, she is sobbing that she wants him to go on the last ship leaving Orb with her (He'd probably either get killed or captured... more on that later). The three Gundams that blond haired jerk owns try to stop the ship from launching, and Kira and Athrun have to protect it.

(EXTREME SPOILER ALERT!!!)

The biggest shockers come right at the end, when the ship is just about to leave. Cagalli's father hands her a picture of a mother holding her two babies. One of them has blond hair, and obviously is a baby Cagalli. The father then says something to the effect of "Don't worry, you will be with your brother". You then see that the other baby has brown hair! She then turns the picture to find the name "Kira" followed by her last name (I can't remember it...). In classic fashion, he shuts the door on her and the ship wisks her away. Kira and Athrun have to rush onto the ship before it leaves, and Athrun barely makes it on. The last big shock happens at the end when the ship is flying. Her father presses a button and the entire place blows up. Cagalli yells out "FAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHEEERR!!!!, and we are left with the image of her father looking into the sky before the flames ingulf him...

If you have never seen GS before but still read this, this is just a taste of what happens in this anime. The drama is top notch, something crazy happens every episode!

This definitly one of the better episode! So I am giving it a 7.5.

Alright! I managed to regain the old html code of my site and copy/paste it back onto the the form editor.I am especailly proud of how I managed to do this.

Let's say that your sites been on the web for a bit, and you've accidently messed up your HTML code. I accidently erased a portion of the code, then saved it. Go to Google and find your site on it. DON'T CLICK THE LINK TO THE SITE. Instead, click on the "cached" link. You'll be brought to a cached version of your site!!! Now all you have to do is to view the source, copy/paste it, and erase the section Google put on the top! If your browser won't allow you to view the source, or the like (I did this at school, so I had to use this. It is an online view source that works well!

I know from experience this can be a frustrating experience (see below), but I hope the above will help you as much as it did me.

I'd also better put a link to the site, since I still can't figure out how to get it on the left Links menu.

I was innocently trying to set up a forum for my website, when boom... I accidently ruined my site! I can get it running again, but it's so frustrating!!! Next time, I'm keeping a hard copy of the code! Luckly, I think I have an older version of the site on the school computer, so tommorow' I'll try that. There wasn't much on the site anyways, so it shant be hard to fix. Yay, I'm feeling better now.
